The site of the 2009 World Affairs Seminar is Carroll University, located in Waukesha, WI, about 20 miles west of Milwaukee. Carroll University has been noted as the second-best university in Wisconsin by Forbes Magazine, just behind Lawrence University. The University has all of the necessary facilities to make the 2009 Seminar very successful, with the added bonus of being a smaller campus, reducing the amount of walking and general disbursement between activities. Founded in 1841, Carroll University is the oldest college in the state and offers beautiful 19th century architecture that will make your stay in southeastern Wisconsin even more enjoyable.
