Cost

Domestic Fee (US and Canada): $600.00 per student.

International Fee (including exchange students enrolled in a US or Canadian high school): $500.00 per student.

Included in the fee

  • Six nights lodging in a multiple occupancy campus residence hall
  • All meals are included from Saturday dinner through Friday lunch.
  • Instructional expenses (speakers’ fee/materials)
  • Admission to all activities
  • Scheduled recreational activities/equipment use
  • Computer lab access at designated times
  • Packet with seminar materials
  • 24-hour staff counselors in the residence halls
  • 24-hour nursing staff
  • Insurance for Seminar related injuries only
  • Farewell Dance on Thursday evening
  • Snacks and refreshments are served at the Farewell Dance.

NOT included in the fee

  • Transportation to and from the Seminar
  • Items of personal nature

Early Bird Promotion
Deduct 5% from the Student Fee if completed applications forms and payment are received on or before February 28, 2009.

Group Rates
Four (4) or more students from one school or who are sponsored by 1 organization receive 10% deduction from Student Fees (Entire group must attend the current seminar year).

How to pay
The Seminar fee may be paid by Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, personal check
or money order in US dollars.

Take advantage of the multiple students and Early Bird Promotions.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MAY 15th, 2009
A $25.00 late application fee applies after May 15, 2009

Refund

  • Students (or their sponsoring organization) must notify the World Affairs Seminar office in writing if they are unable to attend.
  • Full refund or full credit toward 2010 fee if no application is submitted for 2009 Seminar. Refund or credit must be submitted in writing by June 25, 2009.
  • Full refund if application is cancelled in writing by April 1, 2009.
  • 75% refund if application is cancelled after April 2, 2009 but prior to May 1, 2009.
  • Credit to the 2010 seminar will be applied if application is cancelled after May 1, 2009 (unless due to illness or extraordinary circumstances in which case refund will be 50%).
  • All cancellation refunds are subject to $50.00 processing fee.
