Beyond providing in-depth information on a topic of vital global importance each year, the World Affairs Seminar gives students the tools they need to take action. World Affairs Seminar participants learn how affect positive change in their communities and in the world. The World Affairs Seminar aims to create solid leaders and innovative thinkers with tangible resources and knowledge for today, and for the future.

At the 6-day Seminar students experience valuable interaction with peers from other walks of life, make lasting international friends and go home ready to achieve success!
WAS is for all promising students, not just the “gifted and talented.” WAS is an ideal opportunity for exchange students. Their international perspective is extremely valuable. The Seminar can provide an ideal “end of stay” capstone experience.
