Transportation from the student’s home to the Seminar and return is the responsibility of the parents of the participants. Over the years, many of the sponsoring organizations have assisted students with transportation costs as well as the Seminar fee.
Air and Motor Coach Travel
Participants are encouraged to make their own travel arrangements. Our staff will be available to assist and advise.
Airport to Campus Shuttle Coaches
Seminar staff (“Red Hats”) will be at both Chicago O’Hare and Milwaukee Mitchell airports to meet and assist arriving students.

It’s a BLAST on the bus!
When you board the Riteway Midwest deluxe charter motor coach…exclusively chartered for World Affairs Seminar… on Saturday, June 16th, you’ll be traveling with a group of students whom you’ll get to know before you arrive in Whitewater…a neat way to meet and make some new friends. You’ll have some friends before you try to meet the other hundreds of Seminar participants who’ll also be arriving on campus to begin the great adventure.
You’ll be able to play some of your favorite VHS tapes in the on board video system (only VHS tapes, though, not DVDs.)
Relax and enjoy the comfort of direct-to-campus charter service. There will be a brief rest/stretch stop enroute, and in a few short no-hassle hours, you’ll be at Wells Hall, ready to check in.
